As Northern Nevada's Foreign Trade Zone administrator, Griffin Global Logistics has announced the Northern Nevada FTZ has received approval to establish an Alternative Site Framework that will provide benefits to businesses that relocate within the FTZ region.

The ASF will allow any new companies locating to Northern Nevada to secure FTZ status for warehousing and distribution operations within approximately 30 days from the time an application is accepted for filing.

Russ Romine, president of Griffin Global Logistics, said the ASF designation will provide a competitive advantage to Northern Nevada by offering incentives to companies doing business in the area.
