Terms and Conditions
- The amount stated for each quote is subject to change due to fluctuations in the price of fuel and its effect on the current FSC (fuel surcharge). Rates do not include accessorial charges that may be incurred due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e. delivery delays, re-delivery, re-consignment, lift gate required at time of delivery or re-classification of the stated commodity or re-weigh adjustments based on carrier certified inspections and other rules subject to the carrier's rules tariff.
- All rates are based on standard service unless defined special services are requested. All rates are based on NMFTA (National Motor Freight Transportation Association) Classifications and rules.
- Shipments that are stated as "palletized" are quoted based on each pallet being standard pallet sizes, i.e. each pallet having the dimensions of 48 inches x 40 inches.
- When shipment dates are greater than 24 hours from the date of the original rate quote, the original quoted amount is subject to change. Griffin Transport Services, is not, and shall not be held liable for any variations in the quoted amount and the actual amount charged by the selected carrier.
- If the total weight of a single shipment exceeds 10,000 lbs. or 750 cubic ft. please call Griffin Transport for a volume quotation, as more economical pricing options may be available. Contact us at 800-361-5028.
- The bill of lading is a contract between the shipper, Griffin Transport Services, Inc., and the freight carrier to deliver a shipment of goods to the assigned consignee. The bill of lading is a legal and binding document, and it is important that it be filled in completely and properly by the shipper. By use of this site, I agree to be financially responsible for all charges related to any Bill of Lading created and shipped using the online web rating tool. Additionally, Griffin shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred directly or indirectly from the use of this site.
